Terms of Service
The agreement between you and TerraCove
Effective date: October 16, 2026
Who we are
TerraCove is operated by Cardinal Labs, LLC, an Oklahoma limited
liability company (“Cardinal Labs,” “we,” or
“us”). These Terms are between you and Cardinal Labs, LLC.
Acceptance of these terms
By creating a TerraCove account or using the app, you agree to these
Terms of Service and our
Privacy Policy. If you
don't agree, please don't use the app.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create a
TerraCove account. By registering, you confirm you meet this
requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
- One person, one account — don't create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.
- You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account; this is permanent.
Your content
You own what you post — photos, videos, vehicle records, listings,
messages, and everything else you create in TerraCove. By posting
content to a public area of the app (Feed, Groups, Marketplace,
Public Garage), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free
license to host, store, and display it as part of operating the app —
nothing more. We don't sell your content or license it to third
parties for their own use.
You're responsible for what you post, and for having the rights to
anything you upload (photos, video, etc.).
Community conduct
Using TerraCove, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
- Post illegal content, or content promoting illegal activity — including trespassing on posted private land or protected areas.
- Submit false or malicious hazard reports, or map spots you know to be inaccurate or unsafe.
- Use Marketplace to list stolen, counterfeit, or prohibited items, or to defraud another user.
- Attempt to access another user's account, or reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the app or its backend.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms,
and users can report or block others directly in the app.
Marketplace
TerraCove's Marketplace connects buyers and sellers directly — we are
not a party to any transaction, don't process payments between users,
and don't hold funds in escrow. You're responsible for negotiating,
inspecting, paying for, and completing your own transactions safely.
Buyer and seller ratings are opinions submitted by users after a
completed transaction, not verified by TerraCove. We may remove
ratings that violate our conduct rules but don't otherwise arbitrate
disputes between buyers and sellers.
Trails, hazards & safety
Trail conditions, campground details, hazard reports, and other
location content on TerraCove are contributed by the community, not
verified by us. Conditions change — always use your own judgment,
check current local conditions, and follow all posted signage and
land-use rules. Off-roading, overlanding, and boating carry inherent
risk; you use TerraCove and any location information in it at your
own risk.
Premium subscription
TerraCove Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through
your Apple ID. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24
hours before the end of the current period, and your payment method
will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period
ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your
device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by
Apple according to their policies, not directly by TerraCove.
Termination
You can stop using TerraCove and delete your account at any time. We
may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in
fraud, or create risk or legal exposure for other users or for
TerraCove.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
TerraCove is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We
don't guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted map, trail, or hazard
data, or that the app will always be available or error-free. To the
maximum extent permitted by law, TerraCove isn't liable for indirect,
incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the
app, including damages related to Marketplace transactions or
reliance on user-submitted location information.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma,
without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. We'll update the date
at the top of this page, and for material changes, notify you in the
app.
